Government accused of 'moving goalposts' on badger cull

A row has broken out over government plans to change the conditions attached to cull licenses issued to companies carrying out badger culling in the UK. With the addition of the Dorset cull zone in the third year of the government’s trial badger culls, the number of zones where culling is taking place grew to three this year. There are plans to roll out badger culling further still, though the policy remains extremely controversial, and has lost backing from prominent former supporters.
