FWAG unveils renewables advisory service
24 June 2011
The Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) has unveiled a new advice service for farmers eager to unlock the potential for generating renewable energy from their farms. For £250 farmers can benefit from a site appraisal and receive advice on the range of suitable options available.
The new renewable energy assessment service includes an on-farm visit from an adviser, who will describe the range of technologies available and assess the site’s potential for each. The advisor will also offer impartial advice on costs, payback times, and planning to enable farmers to take the next steps.
