Future-proofing farming at the Cereals Event
Farm technology is moving on apace, with the latest innovations helping producers to improve efficiencies while benefiting the environment and their bottom line. Visitors to the Cereals Event will be able to see a wide range of the latest new machinery, technology, and product developments – so what's on offer?
From precision farming tools and advanced equipment to virtual reality safety training and sustainable solutions, this year's event reflects the sector's commitment to smarter, more efficient agriculture.
AP Air Europe
Air-conditioning specialist, AP Air Europe is set to unveil a new range of Purecab cabin filters and recharge kits at Cereals this year. Engineered with ADXORB® activated carbon, Purecab filters exceed industry standards, with up to 11 times greater chemical adsorption than typical cabin filters. An indicator bead window makes it quick and easy to monitor the health of the filter, and with over 1,400 filter options to choose from the range covers all major agricultural machinery brands.
Recharge kits are also available which enable users to extend filter life and reduce costs when aligning with the industry recommendations to replace or recharge filters every 12 months or 400 hours of use.
To celebrate the launch of the range, AP Air Europe is offering a 50% discount on all Purecab activated carbon cabin filters ordered at Cereals stand #105 during the event. Terms and conditions apply.
Atlantis Tanks Group
As the company marks its 20th anniversary, Atlantis Tanks Group is set to showcase a versatile selection of diesel, AdBlue, and water tanks in static and portable formats, tailored to meet the needs of farmers and agricultural buying groups. Among the highlights will be Pollicubes - small portable diesel and AdBlue tanks that can be used to fuel farm machinery in remote parts of the farm.
Also on display will be static bunded heating oil tanks and underground water tanks for rainwater storage. Come along and celebrate the company's anniversary with its popular Drinks Tank dispensing complimentary Hawkstone lager and cider.
BFS Farm Services
BFS Farm Services has introduced the BFS ABTJ – Air Bubble Twin Jet Nozzle, designed to deliver superior pesticide coverage through a twin-angled spray pattern (30° forward and 30° backward).
The ABTJ enables precise application of spray volumes on dense canopies using a smaller twin fan orifice, creating finer droplets without increasing drift risk. The opposing spray angles ensure uniform crop coverage, including stems, leaves, and hard-to-reach areas.
Ideal for pre-emergence applications at 200 litres/ha, it offers clod coverage and is equally effective for fungicide and herbicide use at 100 litres/ha. The nozzle is available in 025, 03, 04, and 05 ISO sizes, making it a versatile solution for various crop protection needs.
Claydon
The new Claydon NutriSeeder, part of the Opti-Till® range, will be on display during Cereals 2025. Proven on the Claydon family farm, it enables quick, accurate, and economical cover crop establishment. The 7.5m Straw Harrow has two versions: A single 200-litre hopper with one metering unit or a twin-hopper set-up with dual systems for applying and mixing two seed types simultaneously.
Both feature a hydraulic fan, electronic controls, and speed-based rate adjustment. Operators start/stop seeding via a hydraulic cylinder while keeping the harrow down to avoid clumping or weed seed spread. Adjustable metering handles rates up to 30kg/ha for wheat, 15kg/ha for grass, and 25kg/ha for cover mixes at 15kph.
Eight spreader plates distribute seed ahead of the standard 14mm or optional 16mm tines, which create a shallow 30mm tilth for optimal seed-to-soil contact.
Farm Safety Foundation
The Farm Safety Foundation is set to unveil an immersive virtual reality experience as part of its 2025 show season. This interactive initiative places visitors in three realistic scenarios emphasising the importance of wearing eye protection during common farming tasks. Designed to drive home the consequences of neglecting basic personal protective equipment, the experience shows how such injuries can be easily prevented.
The VR concept was inspired by the powerful story of Ryan Taggart, a young farmer from Northern Ireland who tragically lost sight in one eye due to a farm accident. His story has already left a lasting impression in safety training sessions across colleges and universities. Now, through virtual reality, it is hoped it will reach even more farmers and workers encouraging smarter, safer practices across the industry.
Griffith Elder
Griffith Elder will exhibit its Mass-Tel™ Range of ISObus load cells and weighing systems, which feature innovative plug-and-weigh technology for a seamless, high-performance user experience.
Entirely designed in-house, the Mass-Tel™ range offers reliable solutions for agricultural, automotive, and off-road machinery applications. At the system's core are load cells with embedded CANbus ECUs, which connect directly to ISObus or J1939 protocols, eliminating the need for junction boxes or interface electronics. Operation, setup, and diagnostics are handled via a standard ISObus Universal Terminal, with the load cells providing the user interface directly to the screen. Third-party integration is efficient and straightforward using ISObus or Griffith Elder's proprietary protocol. The system also supports Mass-Tel™ Utilities (MTU), which offer expanded connectivity such as Bluetooth and remote displays.
The Mass-Tel™ App connects via bluetooth, mirroring the Universal Terminal interface while adding enhanced functionality. Its modular connection system lets users link multiple hardware options simultaneously, creating a flexible and future-ready weighing solution.
Horsch
HORSCH is unveiling the new generation of its Partner FT front tank range, offering farmers even greater flexibility and efficiency in seeding operations. The expanded line-up now includes double-tank options comprising 1600, 1700, and 2100 litres, and a triple-tank model offering 2500 litres, joining the existing single-tank system. These tanks integrate seamlessly with HORSCH's wide range of mounted drills and implements, allowing farmers to build versatile, adaptable seeding systems tailored to their needs.
Whether paired with the Avatar 6.25 SL, Sprinter 6 SL, Taro 6 SL, Express KR, or single-grain Maestro RV and RX models, the Partner FT optimises weight distribution for improved performance and soil protection. It's also compatible with tools like the Transformer VF, Cura ST, and Finer SL, which can be easily converted for wet weather drilling.
Now equipped with the I-Manager operating system, already proven in the Pronto, Versa, and Avatar lines, the new models also feature updated packer options, pneumatic piping support kits, and quick couplers for fast, tool-free connections. After a limited pre-series release in 2024, the new Partner FT models will be fully available in 2025, complementing the existing range.
Pan Anglia
Pan Anglia continues to expand its range of high-quality wearing parts for ploughing, subsoiling, mole draining and all types of cultivation and drilling. The range includes many parts with tungsten, hard facing and dura facing to prolong life in hard conditions and maximise efficiency by cutting downtime.
It includes a large stock of PTO parts and complete shafts and guards from Walterscheid, Comer, Bondioli, and Pavesi. With in-house manufacturing of all types of webs for root crop machines, the portfolio also includes an extensive selection of rollers, sprockets, and shares.
The Resolution Farming App
The Resolution Farming App has officially launched in the UK, delivering a flexible, cloud-based farm management solution designed with ease of use in mind. Built to suit farms of all sizes and tech experience levels, the app combines powerful features into a single, intuitive platform. An integrated farm map visualises layouts and supports location-based data entry, making tracking daily events and tasks simple.
Farmers can manage operations on the go via the mobile app, access centralised data from anywhere, and store key documents, photos, and attachments. Customisable to individual farming needs, the Resolution Farming App aims to streamline decision-making and compliance and support more robust farm management.
