ForFarmers UK today announces that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Advanced Ruminant Nutrition (ARN), an independent UK specialist in ruminant nutrition and consultancy services. It is expected to close this transaction in the fourth quarter of this year.

Strengthening of long-standing relationship

 Established 20 years ago and headquartered in Lancaster, ARN supports livestock farmers across the UK through a team of 16 nutritionists. The business has built a strong market position through its independent advice, technical expertise and customer-focused approach.

 The acquisition strengthens the long-standing relationship between ForFarmers and ARN and supports the continued development of both businesses. ARN will continue to operate independently under its existing management structure, led by Managing Director Grant Spittal.
