Blondin Sires UK to Sponsor Hog Roast at Borderway UK Dairy Expo
Borderway UK Dairy Expo and Blondin Sires UK are pleased to announce that a complimentary hog roast, kindly sponsored by Blondin Sires UK, will take place during this year's event at Borderway Mart, Carlisle.
The hog roast will be held on Friday 13th March, during the heifer show, and will be served from 5.30pm at the Blondin Sires stand in the show hall. Exhibitors and spectators alike are warmly invited to attend and enjoy a hot meal along with complimentary refreshments.
Borderway UK Dairy Expo, which takes place on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March, is one of the UK's premier dairy events, showcasing some of the finest dairy cattle in the country alongside a major trade exhibition featuring the latest technology, research and innovation. The event also hosts seven Breed Society shows, industry demonstrations and the prestigious John Dennison Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Friday evening hog roast is designed to provide a relaxed and sociable gathering at the end of a busy first day in the showring. Molly Westwood, UK Manager at Blondin Sires UK, said, "We are proud to support the exhibitors at this year's UK Dairy Expo with a complimentary hog roast. Providing a warm meal and bringing people together is the perfect way to round off the first day at one of the UK's largest and most important dairy shows. We're extremely excited to catch up with so many of the UK's top breeders and would like to thank Harrison & Hetherington for involving Blondin Sires UK as sponsors of this year's event."
Glyn Lucas, Senior Dairy Auctioneer at Harrison & Hetherington and event organiser, added, "UK Dairy Expo continues to go from strength to strength, and the atmosphere around the rings and trade stands is a huge part of what makes the event so special. We are very grateful to Blondin Sires UK for their generous support and for sponsoring this hog roast, which will give exhibitors and visitors a great opportunity to relax, socialise and enjoy the occasion together on Friday evening."
With leading breeders, elite cattle and a packed two-day programme, Borderway UK Dairy Expo remains a key date in the dairy industry calendar, and the Blondin Sires UK hog roast promises to be a highlight of the opening day's events.
