Farming Online’s June opinion poll on the EU Referendum will remain open this week, to give as clear a picture as possible of farmers’ feelings ahead of Thursday’s vote on Britain’s future in Europe.

Those who have already responded to the survey will be able to amend their responses up until Wednesday, when the results of the poll will be published.

Farming Online surveys, which have been conducted monthly since February, had suggested respondents were making their minds up on the EU Ref issue, with a shrinking number of ‘uncertain’ votes and the ‘Remain’ camp seemingly gaining ground as a result. Though the ‘Leave’ vote had always been proportionally bigger, the results from June’s poll showed a significant swing towards Leave, with 64% of farmers backing Brexit, 33% wishing to remain part of the EU and only 3% undecided.
