Scotland’s Environment minister has praised the “radical” land reform bill unveiled by the government in June. Dr Aileen McLeod promised that the benefits of the Land Reform Bill will be “potentially life-changing for individuals and communities across Scotland” and added that the Scottish government is keen to listen and consider further improvements to its proposals.
