If you thought the electric revolution was limited to cars and trucks then think again – because even tractors are getting the green treatment.

Leo Motors has entered into an agreement with Tong Yang Mulsan Company, one of the largest agricultural machinery companies in Korea to develop electric tractors using the body and chassis from Tong Yang’s internal combustion engine tractors.

The company will develop the electric tractor using its proprietary electric powertrain, which consists of an electric motor, battery management system and power pack and a controller. When the development has been completed successfully, the company will have the chance to market its powertrains to Tong Yang.

Leo Motors is a US public company based out Seoul, Korea and has converted models of existing internal combustion engine vehicles into electric vehicles.
