English beef and sheep producers who sell their meat directly to the public are being given a helping hand thanks to a new beef and lamb box scheme from EBLEX.
The free beef and lamb ‘Handy Packs’ include a range of resources for producers who are looking to pack and retail their own beef or lamb, such as cutting specifications, costing guidelines and promotional materials.
The box scheme is part of the EBLEX Direct Selling programme, which was developed to help local supply chains for quality beef and lamb improve their meat quality, profitability and marketing.
