On Monday, an RPA spokesperson said, "We are currently reviewing applications for this popular and competitive scheme, and need to assess each one carefully to ensure the very best projects are selected and we deliver value for money for the public purse.

"We will contact applicants as soon as we are able to – and expect to be able to update them on the success of their application towards the end of November."
