The 6M Series is said to be a versatile, more powerful, more functional and more efficient tractor and will take over from its predecessor, the 6030 series.

The single-fuel, 125hp 6125M model will be on show at the event, held at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingilston and will compliment John Deere’s 990 variable chamber round baler, complete with fast release system (FRS) and the XUV 855D 4x4 utility gator.

The series ranges from 115hp right up to 170hp, with Deere offering a 140hp machine, the highest powered four-cylinder tractor they’ve ever offered before.

PowrQuad and AutoQuad as well as 40kph transmission and standard decluth button will also aid operator comfort and fuel efficiency.

Farmers looking for smaller machines need not be disappointed either, the existing 6130, 6230 and 6330 Standard Cab models (85 to 105hp) will remain in the range for 2013 too.
