On Friday 28th August, farming minister George Eustice unveiled the latest tranche of European funding aimed at growing and diversifying rural businesses. £8 million of Rural Development funding will be made available for farmers, who can claim up to £35,000 in individual grants, and Mr Eustice promised that more funding from the Rural Development pot will be made available in September.
