BASIS introduces another expert to its impressive leadership team

Harry Henderson, formerly a knowledge exchange manager and KE technical manager at AHDB has recently joined the professional standards body, BASIS, as their new technical manager.

With a role that will initially focus on technical support for the National Register of Sprayer Operators (NRoSO), Mr Henderson will then become a central point of contact for all technical issues across arable and livestock learning areas. Mr Henderson explained the significance of this role.

"With the ever-increasing need for professionalism in many sectors of agriculture, especially when applying crop protection to food crops or administering care to animals, I am excited to join BASIS at a time when agriculture needs to co-exist with the environment, biodiversity, adjust to changing weather patterns and still provide quality, assured food to a demanding population" says Mr Henderson.

BASIS CEO, Andrew Lazenby says of the new appointment: "We're incredibly lucky to already have such well renowned experts in the organisation, but as we grow, technical skill from our trainers and managers such as Harry will be incredibly important to help us move into our new focus areas."
