Barrus unveils all-new HiSun Stryker EV at LAMMA 2026

Barrus is set to showcase the all-new HiSun Stryker EV at this year’s LAMMA Show, marking a major step forward in electric off-road utility vehicles for the UK market.

The HiSun Stryker EV, which is fully road-legal, sets a new benchmark for off-road performance, combining rugged capability with advanced electric technology. Powered by a 15kW, 72-volt direct-drive battery system, Stryker EV delivers instant torque, near-silent operation and zero emissions, all without compromising on strength, durability or real-world usability.

Available in both two and four passenger configurations, the Stryker EV has been engineered to tackle demanding terrain with confidence and control, making it ideally suited to agricultural, estate, forestry and commercial applications, as well as leisure use.

“The launch of our new electric UTV marks a significant step forward, reflecting the growing demand for sustainable, high-performance utility vehicles in the UK.

Designed specifically to meet the needs of British users - from estates and agriculture to local authorities - it delivers the capability customers expect, with the environmental benefits they increasingly demand. This launch underlines Barrus’ long-term commitment to innovation, electrification, and providing practical solutions that are fit for the future of the UK market,” said Will Timmis, head of Outdoor Lawn & Garden at Barrus.

Designed for serious work and adventure, the HiSun Stryker EV comes exceptionally well equipped as standard. Key features include Electric Power Steering (EPS) for smooth and precise handling, dual 10-inch full-colour LCD displays, and full connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, FM/AM radio and integrated door speakers.

Visibility and safety are enhanced through front and rear cameras, while everyday usability is supported by push-button start and a full cab featuring a folding glass windscreen with wiper and washer.

Built to handle tough tasks straight out of the box, Stryker EV is also fitted with a 3,500lb winch, heavy-duty side rails and rear bumper, towbar, rear work light and a roof-mounted light bar, ensuring it is ready for work in all conditions.

Quiet, clean and powerful, the HiSun Stryker EV offers a compelling electric alternative for users looking to reduce emissions and noise without sacrificing performance or capability.

The HiSun Stryker EV will be on display on the HiSun stand at LAMMA 2026, where visitors can see the vehicle up close and learn more about its specifications and availability.
