AMAZONE: Comfortable data exchange via the AmaTron Share App

The AMAZONE AmaTron 4 ISOBUS operator terminal, developed in-house by AMAZONE, provides tablet-style handling of all ISOBUS-compatible agricultural machinery with added convenience and clarity. In addition, the AMATRON 4 offers extended functionality that goes beyond the ISOBUS standard. The terminal is now being expanded to work with the new AMATRON Share App, which facilitates easy online data exchange for precision farming.

Whether for pure ISOBUS machine operation or precision farming functions, AMATRON 4 offers various optional software licences that are pre-installed on the terminal and can be trialled free of charge or activated right away for a fee.

With the GPS-Maps&Doc licence, both machine data and geo-referenced data can be gathered and documented via the Task Controller (TC). In addition to the classic method of import via the convenient, central import menu using a USB stick, the AMATRON Share App allows the operator to send the job data from a mobile device to the AMATRON 4 via a Wi-Fi hotspot. Using the free App, job data , such as field boundaries or application maps, can be comfortably forwarded via any messenger or the cloud in ISO-XML or Shape file format to the AMATRON 4, where it can be imported and processed.

After importing an application map, you can immediately start work in the field without initially having to create a job in advance. The motto here is: work first, then save or delete.

When the task is finished, the job is saved on the terminal or exported in either ISO-XML or PDF format. The ISO-XML Export can then be imported into a farm management information system for documentation purposes and a PDF report can be created for each job for documentation purposes.

With the AMATRON Share App, operators can conveniently export files and then share them via a messenger of their choice or the cloud. This enables quick and easy data exchange for professional agriculture.

The AMATRON Share App will be available free of charge on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store from December 2024.
