AHDB returns to Singapore's FHA to showcase UK cheese
Cheese from the UK will be showcased at one of Asia's largest food and drinks exhibitions in Singapore – where dairy exports reached an impressive £10.1 million last year.
This month, AHDB will have a stand at Food and Hotel Asia (FHA), which runs from April 25 – 28 at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre.
AHDB will be joined by three dairy exporters from the UK at the high-profile event, which is one of the largest and most important shows for exporters to showcase their products to buyers in the Southeast Asia region.
Singapore is a key target market for UK exporters, with dairy shipments reaching 2,589 tonnes in 2022. Cheese exports to Singapore increased in value to more than £3 million, with 552 tonnes exported last year.
AHDB's Senior Export Manager for Dairy Lucy Randolph said: "With consumers who value high-quality products, Singapore is an important and growing market for our cheese and dairy exports.
"We are delighted to be back at FHA with our exporters and look forward to raising the profile of our cheese to potential buyers from across Asia and building on these impressive export figures in the years ahead."
