AHDB expands export team to support work in Asia and Africa

The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) has underlined its commitment to supporting red meat exports with the appointment of a new team member to its International Trade Development team.

Henry Glover has joined the team as Senior Trade Development Manager and will focus on providing support for red meat exports in Asia and Africa, having spent more than six years working in the red meat processing sector.

Jonathan Eckley, AHDB International Trade Development Director, said: "I'm delighted to welcome Henry to the team. He brings a vast amount of experience working in the red meat sector and his expertise will be a great asset in developing further opportunities for our levy payers in Asia and Africa.

"AHDB has an established reputation of working collaboratively with industry and government to help secure access to new markets and supporting our exporters to maximise opportunities in a broad portfolio of markets around the world.

"Henry will provide us with valuable additional capacity in the team to help us continue to deliver valued services to our levy payers and help quality red meat exports thrive on the global stage."
