Growers throughout the country will have access to a new range of rapidacting foliar nutrition products, following an announcement from start‐up company Safagrow of a deal with top UK agronomy and crop protection distributor Agrovista.

Aloy, which has been developed in‐house by Safagrow, comprises a suspension concentrate (SC) range of key micronutrients that, according to Andrew Low, sales and marketing director, gives the grower the much soughtafter combination of rapid action and long‐term control of mineral deficiencies.

"SCs have always been challenged on their speed of action and their shelf‐life. Aloy solves both of those problems, delivering growers a product that not only provides rapid re‐greening to stop further yield loss and reassurance that the crop’s longer‐term mineral requirements are dealt with, but also an increase in shelf‐life from an average of 18 months to more than 30 months.

"The agreement with Agrovista is good for both parties: it gives us access to their well‐trained, highly technical team of agronomy experts, and gives them an innovative, quality micronutrient solution to offer their customer base," says Mr Low.
