Agriconnect acquires the UK’s largest Expo for Rural, Holiday Parks, Leisure and Attraction businesses
Scheduled for 15-16 November 2023 at the NEC in Birmingham, Agriconnect will bring together over 12,000+ buyers and sellers to four co-located shows to network, share ideas and innovations, do business and make valuable connections.
Agriconnect acquired the Rural and Leisure portfolio from Fortum International in late 2022 which includes, Farm Business Innovation Show, Holiday Park & Resort Innovation, Family Attraction Expo and Leisure Food & Beverage Expo. ‘We are extremely excited to be able to organise and host the 2023 shows, our place in the market means that we are perfectly positioned to connect UK farmers and landowners who are looking to diversify their land and seek alternative sources of income’ said Nick Ornstien, Managing Director at Agriconnect.
Agriconnect is one of the UK’s largest agriculture information and events business and organiser of flagship farming events LAMMA, The CropTec Show and the British Farming Awards and have been at the heart of the agricultural industry for over 175 years with Farmers Guardian magazine.
Determined to put their mark on the 2023 shows, Agriconnect have already made some exciting changes, including Moving to Halls 18, 19 and 20 at the NEC which provides a much better space and greater opportunities for exhibitors and visitors to collaborate. ‘We have a long and successful track record in delivering large scale events which positions us perfectly to transform all four shows into something spectacular for both exhibitors and visitors alike’ said Justine Sumner, Operations Director at Agriconnect.
Visitors and exhibitors can choose to immerse themselves in the show relevant to their immediate business offering and needs, or benefit from the surrounding buzz and opportunities of the other shows. ‘The show offers exhibitors and sponsors a unique opportunity to reach key buyers and decision makers all looking to diversify or improve visitor experience. In 2022 over 60% of the exhibitors took orders on-site and over 70% rated the leads of high quality. With over 11,500+ visitors in attendance your product and brand will be in good company’ said Veronica Still, Head of Sales.
