Spreading lime precisely 30 metres wide

Bredal is introducing the three new trailer fertiliser spreaders K105XE, K135XE and K165XE with a completely newly developed precision wide spreading system. The high capacity spreaders have a capacity of 9,000 to 19.500 litres.

Unusual features of the new spreading system are its wide spreading width of up to 30 metres for lime and 48 metres for granulated fertilisers and the fact that it can be used for all kinds of fertiliser.

The fertilisers are fed to the two spreading discs with the help of 40 cm wide belts that have a capacity of 3,000 kg per minute. At the edge of the field the spreading system, powered by a separate hydraulic pump on the spreader, is folded hydraulically out of the transport position into the working position. The spreading discs are positioned six metres apart from each other. They are infinitely adjustable from the tractor via ISO-BUS.

The particular innovation on the XE models is that the spreading system can be hydraulically shifted transversely for precision spreading on wedges and headlands. In this way fertilisers are always applied precisely and areas of overlap or gaps are minimised. The spreading blades can be changed for changeovers from lime to granulated mineral fertiliser or damp materials.

The trailers will be on display at Agritechnica 2017, Hall 09, Stand B09.
