The Landworkers’ Alliance will be hosting the premier for our feature documentary In Our Hands at 7.00pm on Friday 17th November 2017 at The Cube cinema in Bristol.

The Alliance is an organisation of farmers, growers and land-based workers who raise awareness of the role they play in providing food security, environmental stewardship, rural livelihoods, strong communities, animal welfare and high-quality affordable food.

The film profiles the inspiring story behind the blood, sweat and tears of the farmers who are outgrowing the industrial food system and a vision for post-Brexit food production that redefines our relationship with food.

As we engage with the most significant change to UK food and farming for a generation In Our Hands offers a unique perspective on a new agricultural landscape, one that will bring back life to the soil, a fair wage to the farmer and a flavour to our tomatoes.

With interviews from beef, dairy, cereal and horticultural producers, academics and activists across the UK, In Our Hands builds a narrative to describe the revolution that is transforming the way our food is produced and distributed.

Patrick Holden of the Sustainable Food Trust said the film was “A timely intervention offering a new perspective on the potential for post-Brexit farm support. If you care about the food you eat, the landscape of your country, or the political system that defines our food and farming you must watch this film"
