429 Farmers Register to Quiz Experts During RABDF Dairy Funding Webinar
More than 420 farmers registered for the dairy funding webinar organised by the RABDF today (30 March) to hear about the latest grant opportunities available for English farmers.
In the hour-long webinar on Thursday, 30 March, experts from Defra and Kite Consulting talked through the options on the table. They included the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund, Animal Health and Welfare Pathway and Stewardship Capital Grants.
Listeners were informed of the available funding, including some options coming later this summer, such as an Infrastructure Grant as part of the Animal Health and Welfare Pathway.
RABDF Chairman Di Wastenage chaired the webinar and said: "This webinar demonstrated the wealth of funding opportunities available for dairy farmers and the timescales we have to work to.
"There are some great opportunities to be had, but what was made clear is that some require discussions with the wider team, such as vets or farm advisors and preparation. Other grant options are more straightforward to apply for.
"There was a great discussion, and I recommend that anyone unable to tune into the webinar listen in via the RABDF website."
The entire webinar will be available shortly to listen to at rabdf.co.uk. The team at the RABDF have also produced a summary document of the grants available, which can be accessed at https://www.rabdf.co.uk/dairy-funding
