25,000 farmers heading to Cereals 2026 at Diddly Squat Farm
More than 25,000 farmers and over 650 exhibitors will be at Cereals 2026 when it opens at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm this June.
The move to a new venue will also see a host of new features being added to the flagship arable event.
More than 25,000 farmers and over 650 exhibitors will be at Cereals 2026 when it opens at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm this June.
The move to a new venue will also see a host of new features being added to the flagship arable event.
Anchoring a roster of new exhibitors will be trailer manufacturer Fruehauf who is exhibiting at the event and are also co-host and main sponsor for Cereals on June 10 and 11.
The company, which has more than 100 years of history producing agricultural trailers, will be joined by a wide variety of new exhibitors that include CropLife UK, Cotswold Seeds, Graintek, INEOS Grenadier, JCB, Mzuri, Secobra Research, Shearwell Data, Trelleborg Tyres, UAVAGRI Drone Application services and many more.
The full exhibitor list is now available on the website.
David Lewington, head of sales, said Fruehauf is aiming to connect with customers directly at Cereals and welcomes the “Clarkson effect”. He said: “With the event being held at Diddly Squat, the event should draw more attention to the major issues that UK farmers are facing and to the important role British farmers play in the UK and global economy.
“Two thirds of our customers are part of the agricultural sector, from individual farmers making a one-off purchase of a tipping trailer every 12 years, to large agricultural businesses operating hundreds of trailers that move produce for thousands of farms.
“Being involved in Cereals gives us a chance to catch up with existing customers, meet potential new customers and listen to their feedback.”
In addition to new visitors and exhibitors, Cereals 2026 will also boast a range of new features. These include the Nofence Livestock Zone which will see animals and associated products at the event for the first time alongside the Clarkson goats. In a nearby area, there is also an area focused on young farmers and contractors called Kaleb’s Corner sponsored by Nick Young Tractor Parts and presented in association with the Young Farmers Programme sponsored by Michelmores.
A heat of Britain’s Fittest Farmer will take place at Cereals, ahead of the finals at The Farmer’s Dog Pub.
If fitness is not your focus on the day, there will be ample food, drink, music and networking available in The Farmer’s Dog pop-up pub, Hawkstone Hops & Harmony sponsored by V12 and The Farmer’s Gin Bar sponsored by Barclays & Propel Finance. And for the first time in recent history at Cereals, there will be retail in the Diddly Squat Farm Shop. Both the main shop and a pop-up shop at the lowland barn will be open on the event days.
These new features will sit alongside regular attractions like the Seed to Shelf Stage sponsored by KWS, BASE-UK Regenerative Ag Stage sponsored by Tees Law, Young Farmers Programme sponsored by Michelmores, the Syngenta & CropLife Sprays & Sprayers Arena and other working demonstrations.
A key technical focus this year will be on how the individual crop plots perform on Cotswold Brash compared to previous years.
Fruehauf, based in Grantham in Lincolnshire, will also be showcasing its newest innovation at the event: a Hydraulic Drive Bulk Blower Trailer.
This is primarily used in the animal feed and wood pellet sectors and customers have experienced challenges delivering these products on narrow or tight roads.
The advantage of this trailer is its internal hose delivery system, which allows material to be delivered several meters away directly from the trailer, improving efficiency and accessibility.
Its development has been a direct result of customer enquiries looking for Fruehauf to provide a new solution for the market space.
David said: “We want to listen to the farmer or agricultural business and build the best product for them. We want to hear feedback from our customers on how our products work for them, and how we can adapt and develop to meet the ever-changing challenges of the industry. For potential new customers, we want to understand their business, how they operate and what we can do for them.”
A prime example of Fruehauf’s ongoing product development is introduction of rear steering back axels on its tipping trailers and bulk blower trailer. This allows drivers to complete tighter turning circles when delivering to sites with limited access, space restricted areas and narrow country roads.
David added: “This is saving a lot of time on deliveries as the farmer doesn’t have to move backwards and forwards as much to turn. We don’t just build, we listen to customers, understand a problem and build the trailer in a way which will benefit.”
Also, on the Fruehauf stand this year will be a range of customer trailers in their own liveries and their very own BTRC race truck which takes part in the British Truck Racing Championship.
Visitors will be able to chat with Fruehauf’s industry specialists about technical and product related questions. They will also be treated to a food and drinks reception with Hawkstone beers and ciders.
“The agricultural industry has been suffering the worst prices in years, input costs such as fertilizer and feed have increased by many multiples and the introduction of IHT has cause a lot of pressure”, said David. “The industry clearly has a lot of headwinds and we want to make sure the time spent away from the farm at this show is enjoyable and productive.”
Jeremy Clarkson says he is looking forward to speaking to farmers at the event to explore the challenges facing the agricultural sector. He adds: “Farmers are facing so many issues at the moment and hosting Cereals was our chance to do something positive for the industry and showcase some practical advice and ideas for food producers. We hope to shine a spotlight on farming in the UK and educate people about the challenges farmers face.
“Cereals is an opportunity for us to come together and find the solutions we all need. We’re really looking forward to welcoming farmers from across the UK.”
Farmers can now register for tickets at www.thecerealsevent.co.uk and applicable trade can enquire online about exhibiting at the event. This is a business-to-business event and so registrations will go through an approval process. Members of organisations including BASE-UK, Farmers Weekly, the National Association of Agricultural Contractors (NAAC) and the National Farmers Union (NFU) will be automatically approved and receive a discount with their membership number.
To manage traffic, there will be comprehensive traffic measures in place and visitors are being asked to choose a preferred entrance date & time. New for 2026, visitors can also book a seat on a Cereals Bus from key locations across the UK including, but not limited to, Elveden Farms, Roy Ward Farms Ltd & Law Farming giving farmers priority access on arrival and helping to reduce traffic further.
